BEIJING-XIAN-SHANGHAI 8 Days 7 Nights

Day 01: Arrival in Beijing
Upon your arrival at Beijing airport, our guide will be waiting for you outside the customs of Beijing Airport, and then transfer you to the hotel. Relax during the remainder of the day. 

Day 02: Beijing (B/L/D)
Visit the world famous Tian'anmen Square and the Forbidden City this morning. In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Heaven. The evening will be highlighted by a lively Chinese Kung Fu Show at the Red Theatre 

Day 03: Beijing (B/L/D)
Visit the Badaling Great Wall and a jade factory in the morning. Moreover, we specially provide red wine for a group-toasting on the Great Wall. A simple lunch will be arranged in a restaurant near the Great Wall today. Then visit the Sacred Way and Ding Tomb. The whole day's sightseeing will come to an end after seeing the appearance of Bird's Nest (Olympic National Stadium) on the way to the urban area. After dinner, transfer back to your hotel.

Day 04: Beijing - Xian (B/L)
Visit the Summer Palace and a pearl store and take a Hutong tour. After lunch, see off the afternoon high speed train to Xian and transfer to the hotel. Since you will arrive in the evening in Xian, for dinner, you may prepare some snacks with you before getting on the train or buy food/ meal on the train. After arrival in Xian, your guide will meet you at the train station then transfer to check in the hotel. 
 

Day 05: Xian (B/L/D)
Visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum and a pottery-making factory. After lunch, visit the Shannxi Provincial Musuem and Xian City Wall. A splendid evening is in store when you will be entertained by the Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show when partaking of the famous Dumpling Dinner. 
 
Tips: Dumplings are a traditional local food in northern China and are made of wheat flour with various indigenous fillings. This has long been a favourite food of the local people, so we have arranged for you to have a taste of this speciality today. You will also have an opportunity to learn more about the diversified Chinese food culture. However, we suggest you do not expect too much from this dinner, it is just a new and different experience during your trip.

Day 06: Xian - Shanghai (B/L)
Visit the ancient Big Wild Googse pagoda and the Muslim Street. After lunch, see off the flight to Shanghai and transfer to the hotel. Dinner is on your own arrangement today.
  

Day 07: Shanghai (B/L/D)
Visit Shanghai Museum, the Yuyuan Garden and a silk shop. After lunch, we will transfer you to the Bund area, where you will take a one hour cruise tour on the Huangpu River. Enjoy some free time to explore the Bund area. Visit the Old French Concession - Xintiandi Area if time permitting. Transfer back to your hotel after dinner. 
 

Day 08: Departure from Shanghai (B)
Your pleasant tour will come to the end today as we transfer you to the airport and help you board your flight back home.

1. The economy class airfare of Xian/Shanghai and the second class high speed train of Beijing/Xian in the itinerary.
2. 8 / 10 standard twin rooms.  The accommodation is based on two people sharing a twin room. 
3. All meal arrangements are served as the itinerary specifies. 
4. On the days we arrange guided tours for you, private transfers for you and your party as a group between airport, train station, a hotels and guided sightseeing spots are as specified in the    itinerary. Separate arrivals and departures will incur extra charges.
5. One private English-speaking guide and one private driver will accompany you on the guided sightseeing tours in each city.
6. Entrance fees for mentioned sights visited.
7. Should your tour include a cruise, then the shore excursion in groups and activities will be subject to the arrangements made by the cruise company. 
8.Our quotation is calculated in Chinese currency (CNY). For the convenience of clients, we convert it to US Dollars at a current exchange rate USD1.00 = CNY6.20. The exchange rate is valid for one month from the date of the quotation.
